Married Life....
...Is wonderful.
...Is wonderful.
I think it's about time y'all get the rest of the story.
Twenty one days ago I married the love of my life and began a new journey with him.
The morning began with a salted caramel latte, made to perfection.
Breakfast, worship, and fellowship with family and friends,
snuggled up in the warmth of the Palouse Divide Lodge.
Later, amongst an array of makeup and foggy clouds of hairspray, there was much laughter and joy
as we ladies made our preparations.
It was so precious to me to be surrounded by my sweet sister, a few very dear friends, and two lovely ladies who would soon be my new sisters.
I remember standing behind closed doors holding my Daddy's arm while the music began.
He hugged me and prayed, then I took a deep breath and the double doors swooshed open.
The aisle and stage were lined with flickering candles.
The sanctuary was full to brimming with people I love. But I wasn't looking at them.
My eyes found his and my heart jumped a little at his smile.
My Daddy let go of my hand, and this sweet man held it in his.
Men and women who have loved us and taught us gathered around us in prayer.
How sweet were the prayers of these people dearest to me.
How sweet were the prayers of these people dearest to me.
When everyone was once again seated, my father spoke to us of Christ's love.
Humble, sacrificial, unconditional love.
We held hands, and made a covenant with one another.
And when we two were joined as one, we sealed our covenant with our first kiss.
And it was so very worth it. :)
Here's some more pictures just for fun:
May God bless you and keep you today, and cause His rich graces to fall upon you.
Anna! You are so beautiful! I am so glad your special day was all you'd ever hoped for... including your first kiss :-)
